Week 4 (Research on past paper)

In the fourth week of my FYP journey, I devoted my time to conducting an in-depth review of eight relevant research papers. This comprehensive review process aimed to gain a deeper understanding of how various projects approached similar objectives to the one I am undertaking.

As I delved into each paper, I discovered that different projects employed a diverse range of sensors and techniques to address their specific needs. These included MEMS accelerometers, tilt sensors, rain detectors, and more. Examining the methodologies and outcomes of these studies provided me with invaluable insights into the effectiveness and suitability of different sensor options.

The thoroughness of the review process allowed me to make informed decisions regarding the selection of sensors and techniques for my own project. By carefully considering the specific requirements and objectives, I was able to identify the most suitable sensor types and techniques to be implemented in my upcoming project. This careful selection ensures that the project will be equipped with the necessary tools to achieve success.

The knowledge gained through the review process has not only broadened my understanding of the field but has also equipped me with the ability to make informed decisions that will contribute to the overall effectiveness and efficiency of my project.
