This week, I have submitted the draft of my technical report to Dr. Aizat, my supervisor, in the hopes of receiving valuable assessment and feedback. Dr. Aizat attentively evaluated the draft during our appointment, making helpful suggestions for improvement. He emphasised the need for adjustments in various areas, including the abstract, format and methodology part. His attention to specifics and expertise will surely improve the report's overall quality and coherence. Dr. Aizat began by emphasising the need of writing a concise yet comprehensive abstract that successfully communicates the essence of the research study. He advised revising and improving the abstract to ensure it provides a clear summary of the aims, methodology, and significant findings.
Dr. Aizat also stressed the significance of sticking to the report's recommended format and structure. He suggested revising the content's organisation to provide logical flow and coherence throughout each segment. Dr. Aizat also reminds me to add the page number as well as the table of contents.
Dr. Aizat also made particular comments for the methodology section, emphasising the importance of including a Gantt Chart for both FYP 1 and FYP 2 planning. Recognising the significance of project management and timeline visualisation, Dr. Aizat emphasised the relevance of include a Gantt Chart to provide a clear perspective of the project's schedule and milestones.
After receiving Dr. Aizat's criticism, I worked hard to make the necessary changes to the precise portions he highlighted. Taking his advice, I updated the abstract, format, methodology section, and included the necessary Gantt Chart.
